The company BULGARIAN HERB BG Ltd. was founded in 2014 by Kostadin Manev, who has been engaged in agriculture for many years. Since 2012, he produces and sells the fresh plant material of cultivated Roman Chamomile (Flore Pleno), German (blue) Chamomile, and Melissa Officinalis.
In 2015 the company invested in its own distillery, which is one of the largest in Europe now, to extract high-quality essential oils and hydrosols (floral waters).
With its over 500 hectares of own land, 350 of which are used for growing German Camomile (Matricaria Recutita) and
150 hectares – Roman Camomile (Anthemis Nobilis- Flore Pleno), the company is the
leading producer of essential oils in Europe.
The company has its own production facility, complete with drying rooms and a distillery
for the production of essential oils.
The installation includes five distillation apparatuses of 23 m3 and one distillation apparatus of 5 m3.
Our company extracts the essential oils via steam and/or water depending on the technology for the specific herb.
That is the way we produce premium quality essential oils that our country is famous for.

The company is a member of the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the International Federation of Essential Oils and Fragrances (IFEAT).
